The GS1100-24 is a 24-port 10/100/1000 switch with 24 10/100/1000 ports and 2 Gigabit open SFP slots. The GS1100-24 protects your existing network investments while providing you with a straightforward migration path to faster Gigabit speeds.

- Traffic Detection automatically reduces power consumption during times of low network utilization.
- Inactive Link Detection dynamically adjusts power consumption based on the number of active network devices.
- Cable Length Detection allows the ES1100-24 to automatically detect the length of connected Ethernet cable and adjust power usage accordingly.

Features such as Address learning and aging and 802.3x flow control adjust traffic congestion and ensure reliable data transmission. The GS1100-24 also supports jumbo frames of up to 9k bytes for extra large transfers.

With the Auto-MDI/MDI-X feature, it eliminates the need for crossover cables when connecting to another switch or hub; and the Auto-negotiation feature senses the link speed of a network device and intelligently adjusts for compatibility and optimal performance
